HOLIDAY DEADLINES: For U.S. delivery of a custom tote, order by December 9. (We can't control the carriers and therefore can't guarantee delivery, but will do absolutely everything in our power to get it to you by December 24th!)

PLEASE NOTE: Usually about 13 to 16 books fit best on a tote (meaning they will be large enough for the titles to be legible, etc.), if they are normal contemporary novels. If you're picking thin children's picture books instead, then choose the full 20 books, and if they are thick epic novels from the 1800s, probably 12 is plenty.

Lead Time

Custom totes are designed by Jane and printed on demand, and usually take 2-3 weeks to ship, and if you add a book(s), that can add up to a week. But let us know if you have a specific deadline you're hoping to meet and we'll try our best to make it happen!

Book Orientation & Arrangement

On totes the books fit best lined up next to each other (instead of stacked on top of each other), perhaps with a few stacked on top of the row, depending on how many you choose. Jane will use the editions of books (if there are multiple possibilities) that look best together, and will arrange them in the most aesthetically pleasing way. If you would like Jane to use a particular edition of a book you have seen in another one of her prints, please describe the spine AND tell us which print you saw it in.

Printing Quality

Custom totes are direct-to-garment printed, and so the inks blend with the natural canvas of the bag and are slightly less clear than on paper.

If the tote will be a gift and you would rather let the recipient pick their own favorite books, you can purchase a Gift Card for a Custom Tote instead.
